Purpose

This report seeks agreement to the award of
contract for the Employer’s Agent/ Project Management
services for Camley Street Site A (120 Camley Street) – which
is the portion being retained by the London Borough of Camden (LBC)
and developed for affordable housing. It is proposed that this
consultant appointment will also provide Employer’s Agent/
Project Management services to support the LBC depot relocation
from Cedar Way to Freight Lane.
 
The highest scoring tenderer was Hunter &
Partners Ltd with a fee of £212,000. This is well within the
estimated contract value of £450,000, which was endorsed in
the procurement strategy report in March 2025. The contract is for
Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Stages 2-6 with an
anticipated contract period of approximately 5 years. The scope of
service is inclusive of the additional items required within the
defects liability period and final account
procedures.
