Purpose
To consider approval of a public consultation on the draft
Camden Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy.

Consideration was given to a report of the
Director of Housing.
DECISION –
THAT, having considered aspects of the draft
Strategy which relates to rough sleeping, and having considered the
Equality Impact Assessment (Appendix
2) and having due regard to
the needs set out in section 149 of the Equality Act 2010, the
Cabinet Member for Safer Communities agrees to:
i)
Note the draft Homelessness and
Rough Sleeping Strategy (set out in Appendix 1);
ii)
Agree that consultation should be
carried out on the draft Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy;
and
iii)
Agree that, following any
amendments resulting from consultation, the final Homelessness and
Rough Sleeping Strategy should be submitted to Cabinet for
approval.
