Purpose

This report seeks approval for the award of
the Parking Management System (PMS) contract and associated
services to Taranto Systems Limited (TSL) who achieved the highest
overall score among the five bidders evaluated.
 
The proposed award of contract is for total
duration of up to 10 years. This contract term includes two
optional extensions of three years each. The estimated total
contract value over the full contract term is £2.7 million,
with implementation anticipated to begin in July 2025.

That Executive Director approves the following
recommendations (and note any exceptions or relevant
impact):

1.    
The award of the contract to
Taranto Systems Limited for a period of up to 10 years (including 2
contract extensions of 36 months each) for the sum of circa
£270,000 per annum (£2.7m in aggregate including
contract extensions).

2.    
That a contract management
review/extension report is to be presented 12 months prior to
approval the end of the initial period(s) of the
contract.
