Purpose

This report
provides a summary of the procurement process for the replacement
of the heating system pipeline at Camden School for Girls, and
seeks approval for the award of contract. The report also sets out
the procurement strategy, for a request for quotation
process.
 
It is recommended
that Ergro Technical Services Ltd be appointed to execute the works
during the summer 2025 holidays. This timing is proposed to prevent
any potential disruption to the school's operations during the
Autumn 2025 term due to heating issues. The contract will commence
on 23 July 2025 for a period of six to eight weeks, for an
estimated total value of £275,361.
 
The project will
be fully funded by the school, including the project management
costs incurred by Council officers.
 
Approval is sought
from the Director of Property Management to proceed with the
appointment of Ergro for the timely and efficient completion of the
heating system pipeline replacement.
