Purpose

To consider the award of an interim 12-month
contract (with an optional six-month extension) for Security
Guarding Services, whilst a new long-term contract is
designed.

Consideration was
given to a report of the Executive Director Supporting
Communities.
 
DECISION –
 
THAT the Cabinet
Member for Finance and Cost of Living approves the procurement
strategy and award of contract for a term of 18 months (including
an initial contract term of 12 months with a 6 month optional
extension period) for an aggregated value of £4.95million
(including optional extension of £1.65million).
