Purpose
This report sets
out a proposed approach to the procurement of LED lighting upgrades
at Regent High School, Agar Children Centre and Torriano Primary
School. The project has already been awarded Greater London
Authority (GLA) Greener Schools grant funding of
£159,000.
The estimated
contract value for these works is £390,000. A desktop
analysis was undertaken last year to assess the required investment
and carbon savings from LED upgrades to the schools and corporate
property portfolio.
The works will
reduce the schools’ energy bills and will also assist the
borough towards its 2030 carbon net zero target.
It is proposed
to use the Lexica’s LED Lighting Framework which is
appropriate for a below threshold procurement and complies with the
Public Contract Regulations (PCR) 2015 (Regulation 18) and it also
complies with the Contract Standing Orders (CSOs).
