Purpose

To consider a waiver to the contract to deliver the Integrated Drug and Alcohol Service to vary the existing contract and allocate additional funding to the current provider (Change, Grow, Live).

DECISION –

That the Cabinet Member for Health, Wellbeing and Adult Social Care approves waiver in line with Contract Standing Order F3.4 in order to:

i)                    Modify the current clauses within the contract with Change Grow Live Services Ltd to allow for further variations from Year 4 (2026/27) until the end of the contract on 31 March 2033 to reflect further Drug and Alcohol grant allocations from the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities; and

ii)                  Modify the contract with Change Grow Live Services Ltd from 1 July 2026 to 31 March 2027 to reflect the agreed Drug and Alcohol Treatment and Recovery Improvement Grant interventions attached as Appendix 1 at a cost of £3,140,260.
