Purpose

This report seeks approval of the award of contract for CCTV maintenance and installation.

Procurement for a new contract is required to ensure the maintenance of the Council’s CCTV, systems, data and associated equipment continues receiving maintenance and the installation of new CCTV and associated equipment as required.

The report recommends the award of contract to Tyco Fire & Integrated Security Solutions (UK) Ltd (Tyco), for an initial contract period 6 years with a 1-year optional extension, commencing 1st July 2026. The total estimated value of the contract is £6.172m.

The contract award report is being presented to Executive Director Investment, Place and Opportunity for approval in line with Contract Standing Orders.

Decision

THAT the Executive Director Investment, Place and Opportunity agrees the contract award for CCTV maintenance and installation to Tyco Fire & Integrated Security Solutions (UK) Ltd for a period of 84 months (including 1 contract extension of 12 months) for the estimated sum of £6,172,000 in aggregate including contract extensions.
