The Cabinet of Camden Council approved the minutes of the meeting held on 25th February 2026. They also approved the procurement strategy for dockless bike hire services with a price/quality split of 40/60 and a 5-year contract term. The Cabinet further approved the introduction of a Public Spaces Protection Order for responsible alcohol consumption for 3 years from 6th July 2026, with a fixed penalty notice of £100 or £60 if paid within 14 days. Authority was delegated to the Executive Director Investment Place and Opportunity to approve the contract award for bike hire, and to the Director of Recreation and Public Safety to implement the PSPO, finalise signage, and vary, extend, or discharge the order.
