Purpose

The purpose of this report is to provide an update to a previously approved decision on 29th October 2025 to reflect an increase in the level of funding needed by Central and North West London (CNWL) NHS Foundation Trust considering inflationary cost pressures, NHS pay award and additional equipment costs in order to;

•            Fund a Band 7 Nurse post to sit within the Integrated Youth Support Service (IYSS) at Camden Council from the 12th of May 2026 to the 11th of May 2028 (total cost £196,168 for 24 months)

•            The additional £22,456 has been requested by CNWL in light of inflationary cost pressures, NHS pay award and additional funding of £8,000 provided by IYSS and Health & Wellbeing for additional equipment costs, bringing the total grant agreement cost to £196,168 over two years, with no material change to the original purpose of the grant agreement.

•            Funding provided by the North Central London (NCL) Integrated Care Board (ICB) (now West and North London ICB), has now increased from £60,000 to £90,000 for the 24 months.
