Purpose

 
This report seeks approval of the award of contract for the
purchase of unattended traffic enforcement cameras and associated
services.
 
The aim of this contract is to continue work being undertaken to
deliver objectives of the Camden Transport Strategy and Camden Plan
around sustainability, promoting healthy modes of transport,
advancing road safety, and compliance of traffic regulations by
drivers.  These cameras will integrate into our
software and will be used in the delivery of a traffic schemes
around the borough under established programmes such as Healthy
School Streets, Low Traffic Neighbourhoods and cycle permeability
schemes.
 
It is recommended to award a contract to Yunex Limited, for an
estimated cost of £650,000.
