THAT having considered the results of the consultation set out
in Section 5 of the report and Appendix E, the Equality Impact
Assessment (EqIA) (section 4 and Appendix C) and
having due regard to the duties set out in section 149 of the
Equality Act 2010, and subject to compliance with relevant
statutory requirements, the Director of Environment and
Sustainability approves the following:

be progressed as, subsequent to the consultations, Siemens –
the charge point operator – brought it to the Council’s
attention that there is electrical street furniture close to the
proposed dedicated bay, which could pose a risk of electric shock
when vehicles are charging.
xlii.     That the parking
spaces be converted from other uses as detailed in Section 2 of
this report. 
xliii.     The Director of
Environment and Sustainability also delegates further decisions
required for implementation of the proposals, including detail
design considerations, to the Chief Engineer.
