Purpose

This report seeks approval to convert the existing
Dedicated Disabled Bay located outside No.4 Castle Road NW1 8PP to
a General Disabled Bay. This proposal is following notification
that the bay is no longer required. As records show other blue
badge holders live in the local area, the council propose to
convert this space into a General Disabled Bay so that any blue
badge holder can benefit from the facility.
 
This proposal meets the aims
of We Make Camden by improving the quality of life for blue badge
holders, enabling them to live a more independent and active
life.

THAT the Chief Engineer, subject to compliance with
relevant statutory requirements and detailed design, approves the
conversion of dedicated disabled bay to general disabled bay
outside No. 4 Castle Road.
