Purpose

This report sets out the results of a tender process for the
main construction contract for the development at the Godwin and
Crowndale Estate as part of Camden’s Community Investment
Programme.
 
This report recommends the award of a main works contract to
Glenman Corporation Ltd for the construction of 10 x 4-bedroom
family homes for social rent and associated public realm
improvements at the Godwin and Crowndale Estate. The contract value
is £5,475,859.

THAT the Executive Director Supporting Communities, in
consultation with the Director of Finance and the Borough
Solicitor, the Cabinet Member for Investing in Communities and an
Inclusive Economy, the Cabinet Member for Better Homes, the Cabinet
Member for Finance & Transformation, and the Director of
Development approves the award of the contract to
Glenman Corporation Ltd for a period of 19 months for
the sum of £5,475,859.
