Purpose

This report seeks endorsement of award of contract to RingGo Ltd
for the service provision of Paid for Parking (P4P). This service
contract will allow motorists to pay for short-term on-street
parking in the Borough’s paid for parking bays.
 
Parking Operations evaluated the provider via the G-Cloud13
digital marketplace. The aggregated contract value estimate is
£1.9 million over a contract term of 3 years plus 1 optional
extension of 6 months.

THAT the Director of Environment and Sustainability endorses the
following recommendations (and notes any exceptions or relevant
impact):
1.       Approval of
the award of the contract to RingGo Ltd for a period of 3.5 years
(including 1 contract extension of 6 months for the sum of
approximately £550,000 per annum (about £1.9m in
aggregate including contract extensions)
2.       that there
be a contract management review that is submitted to the
Council’s internal Corporate Procurement Board 6 months
before the end of the initial term.
