Purpose
This report seeks the approval to award a contract to
Recruitment Team Nine Limited to provide additional capacity to
undertake initial Care Act assessments and reviews in Adult Social
Care’s Support and Safeguarding Service as a result
of challenges relating to capacity and recruitment.
Following a Request for Quotation process where three (3)
organisations who participated in early engagement with council
officers, all three organisations were invited to formally invited
to participate in the process. Two organisations submitted
responses that met all requirements and assessed, one organisation
opted not to submit a response.
Having assessed both compliant responses, this report recommends
the award of contract to Recruitment Team Nine Limited for a period
of six (6) months at a fixed cost of £150,000, which is in
line with the agreed budget.
This contract award report will subsequently be presented to the
Executive Director, Adults and Health, for approval in line with
Contract Standing Orders.
This report includes a Part II appendix which contains
commercially sensitive information relating to the tender
evaluation.
