Purpose

This report seeks endorsement
for the award of contract for Goody Demolition Ltd to undertake
demolition services to facilitate phase 1 of the WKTE redevelopment
project. The scope of works is to deliver a pre-construction work
package to remove structures, below ground remediation and erection
of hoarding.
 
Following a closed
sub-threshold tender process, to which 5 contractors were invited
to tender in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015,
this report seeks endorsement to award the contract to the highest
scoring tenderer Goody Demolition Ltd, which achieved the highest
score both in quality and price. The total estimated value
is
£482,131.

approves the award of contract to Goody Demolition Limited for a
period of 1 year for the sum of £482,131.
