Purpose

This report outlines
the procurement strategy for refurbishment of the main reception
and mezzanine rooms at Rhyl Community Primary School, Grafton Road,
NW5 4AX, to improve access to the building for a variety of
visitors and provide spaces for Early Years provisions.

 
Following our
expression of interest (EOI) sent out, all 5 companies have
confirmed they will respond to our invitation to tender.

 
The estimated contract value is
£895,000 over a period of 21 weeks, planned start March 2024
(school Easter holidays).

 

The works are to be procured via a closed tender process
using a Joint Contracts Tribunal (JCT) Intermediate Building
Contract with contractor’s design (ICD) 2016, with Camden
amendments.
 
 
 

Content

THAT the Director of Property Management, Supporting
Communities, approves the procurement strategy as set out in this
report for an estimated value of £895,000 including the use
of a closed tender process, with an evaluation criteria of 60%
price and 40% quality.
