Public Health Grant Funding for Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust for Project 10/10
November 2, 2023 Director of Health and Wellbeing (Officer) Approved View on council websiteFull council record
Purpose
This report is proposing Camden will enter into a grant
agreement with Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust for the
provision of:
·
Grant from 1st November 2023 to 31st October 2025,
to fund Operational Lead post as part of Project 10/10 multi-agency
project (cost per annum £65,000, total cost
£130,000)
The above post is currently in place and funded through an
existing Grant Agreement with the Trust that is coming to an end on
31st October 2023. The project has been identified as a continued
priority for Camden. This project is funded and staffed by several
partners; the proposed Public Health funding does not constitute as
a service in its own right and hence a Grant Agreement is
recommended.
This report is required as the Camden Constitution
requires that any grant award between £25,000 and
£100,000 per year be delegated to the relevant Executive
Director and Director of Public Health in consultation with the
relevant Cabinet Members.
