Purpose

This report seeks the approval to award a contract to Fora
Design for the review and proposal of strategic options to help
residents receive independent support and care in settings they are
comfortable in and connected too. By partnering with key partners
across the council, health services and voluntary and community
sector organisations, a transformative approach to care giving can
be developed.
 
Following a Request for Quotation process where three (3)
organisations were invited to participate in the process, one
organisation submitted a response that was assessed and met the
requirements. This report recommends the award of contract to Fora
Designs for a period of six (6) months. However, to ensure that all
aspects of the service review is fully scoped, the maximum contract
length will be 12 months, for a fixed price of £80,000.
 
This report includes a Part II appendix which contains
commercially sensitive information relating to the tender
evaluation.
