Purpose

To make a decision on the arrangements for the period during the
Leader of the Council’s parental leave.

Content

Consideration was given to a report of the Borough
Solicitor.
 
DECISION –
 
THAT the Leader of the Council:
 

1)   
Notes and confirms the arrangements outlined within the report;

2)   
Appoints Cllr Harrison as second Deputy Leader;

3)   
Appoints Cllr Abdi-Wali to act as a Deputy Cabinet Member for the
period outlined in the report, to undertake some of the
Leader’s portfolio responsibilities; and

4)   
Confirms that Councillor Callaghan will cover the Leader’s
position on the Health and Wellbeing Board during her absence.
