Purpose

To consider the approval of the
Commissioning Strategy for Camden’s Residential
Children’s Home For Children Looked After.

Content

Consideration was given to a report of the Director of
Children's Prevention, Family Help and Safeguarding.
 
DECISION –
 
THAT having considered the results of the Equalities
Impact Assessment for the provision of Camden’s Residential
Children’s Home, set out at as Appendix 1 to the report, and
having due regard to section 149 of the Equalities Act 2010, the
Cabinet Member for Best Start for Children and Families agrees the
Procurement Strategy for the Provision of Camden’s
Residential Children’s Home for Children Looked After, which
includes a quality/price split of 60/40 and contract term of 4
years for an estimated value of £4,800,000.
