Purpose

Camden’s Vacant Spaces
Programme is an important part of the Council’s Delivery
against we make Camden Objectives, in particular the Estates
Mission.
 
This report seeks agreement for
the use of up to £90,000 of Strategic Community
Infrastructure Levy to part-fund activity associated with the
programme.
 
The funding will enable the
delivery of a programme of engagement and collaboration with
residents at the Hillgrove Estate to develop a proposal for the
activation of vacant workshop/ garage space. It will also enable
initial surveys on an additional 10 sites that could form part of
the programme.

THAT the Chief Planning Officer agree the use of up to
£90,000 of Strategic Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) to
part-fund activity designed to implement the Estates Mission,
Vacant Spaces Programme.
