Purpose

An internal transfer of
funds of £44,787.60 is recommended to cover backdated
business rate bill for the Dome, managed by Queen’s Crescent
Community Association (QCCA) to cover the period between 2017 and
31/03/2023 when the property was mistakenly remained
registered with the business
rates team as a council managed property.

THAT the Executive Director of Corporate Services
agrees to Option 1, approval of internal transfer of
funds from the Voluntary Sector Teams general fund budget to
Business Rates of £44,787.60, which would clear the historic
debt created up to and including 31/3/23. QCCA would then be liable
for charges from this current financial year.
