Purpose

This report seeks the endorsement of a procurement strategy and
award for the provision of a Parking Management System.
 
In 2018, under Shared Digital, a Parking Management System (PMS)
was procured which expires on 28 May 2023. The system underpins the
daily operation of the Council’s Parking Operations enabling
the Council to meet their statutory obligations to control parking
and moving traffic contraventions within the borough.
 
As such, Camden followed a compliant procurement route using the
Crown Commercial Services (CCS) G-Cloud Framework RM1557.13 and
have shortlisted Taranto Solutions Limited to provide a Parking
Management System for a period of 36 months from 29 May 2023, which
includes an optional 12 month extension period which allow the
services to develop a new specification to support multiple systems
within Parking Operations.
 
The service aggregated contract costs are £608,082 which
is shared between Digital and Data Services (DDS) and Parking

years plus 1 year extension

procurement.
