Purpose

This report seeks approval of the award of contract for the
supply and management of Fuel Cards and Associated Services Camden
Accessible Travel Services (CATS) following a Further Competitive
process via the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Fuel Cards and
Associated Services VI Framework - RM6186.
 
The service is used by CATS based at the York Way Depot that
manages and supports the use of Council vehicles to provide a range
of essential services. Whilst the depot has bunkered diesel to
refuel diesel powered engines, fuel cards for all fuel types are
required to ensure vehicles can be replenish vehicles when in use.
The depot supports around 320 vehicles that indirectly supports all
streams of the We Make Camden plan.
 
Following a competitive process, All Star Limited, who is also
the incumbent Provider, achieved the overall highest score of
83.00% out of 100% and this report seeks approval to award the
service to AllStar. The contract will start on or
around the 26 June 2023 for an initial term of 12 months with an
option for a further 12 months (1+1). The total estimated cost for
an initial 12 month term is around £58,091.73 based on the
projected typical monthly spend on fuel cards of £4,840.98.
The total aggregated cost that includes a further 12 month option
will be £116,183.52. 
 
The contract award report will subsequently be presented to
Director of Environment and Sustainability for approval in line
with Contract Standing Orders.

Content

THAT the Director of Environment and Sustainability agrees the
award of the contract to AllStar Business Solutions
Ltd for an initial period of 12 months (including one contract
extension of 12 months) for the sum of£58,091 per annum
(£116,182 in aggregate including possible contract
extension).
