Purpose

This report seeks approval of the procurement strategy and award
of contract for the provision of suitable contractors to deliver
electrical installation condition report (EICR) surveys and
remedial works.
 
The Strategic Commissioning and Insourcing Board have endorsed
the procurement strategy and award.
 
This report asks for approval to award the contract to Savills
(UK) Limited to carry out the EICR surveys and
remedials to an additional 3,500 properties, at a cost
of £1,100,000 over a period of 18 months under a specialist
external framework “Procurement Hub” as Savills are
members of this Framework and it allows the Council to do a direct
award to them.
