Purpose

To consider whether to proceed to consultation, with a series of individual Safe and Healthy Streets proposals, in the Dartmouth Park Area Healthy Neighbourhood.

Decision

Consideration was given to a report of the Director of Environment and Sustainability.

Consideration was also given to 33 representations from a number of individual residents and community groups, including the Highgate Society, Dartmouth Park Neighbourhood Forum, Four Roads, Our Patch, and Growing Green Climate CIC.

The Cabinet Member has reviewed these representations in full, with support from officers, and considered the issues raised around accessibility and the scope of the proposal. The Cabinet Member confirms that all relevant representations have been conscientiously considered before taking this decision.

DECISION –

That the Cabinet Member for Planning and a Sustainable Camden, having considered the report:

i)                    Notes the project history and the outcome of the previous engagements of the scheme that was not taken forward; and

ii)                  Agrees to proceed with developing individual Safe and Healthy Streets schemes in the Dartmouth Park area and to subsequently consult on those projects.
