Purpose

This report seeks approval to allocate local Community Infrastructure Levy (‘local CIL’) funds to community projects assessed from 16 June to 7 August 2026 - the projects are listed in the Recommendations section below. The projects have been assessed by officers to ensure they are in line with the CIL regulations and the Council’s assessment criteria for local CIL allocations, as set out in the case officer reports in Appendix 1.

Under the Council’s Constitution, the allocation of Camden CIL funds is a matter delegated to the Executive Director Investment, Place and Opportunity.

Decision

THAT local Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funds be allocated as follows:-

(ii)                LCIL741a - Age UK Camden Good Neighbours Scheme Additional Allocation - £3,880

(iii)              LCIL747 - Gilbeys Yard TRA CCTV Installation - £30,822

(iv) LCIL756 - Whittington Estate Festive Community Activities 2025 - £305

(v)               LCIL763 - Holy Trinity & St Silas Primary School Playground Resurfacing - £20,000

(vi)             LCIL764 - Somers Town Festival 2026 - £12,000

(vii)           LCIL765KTN - Kentish Town Primary School SEN Swim Pilot Project - £302

(viii)          LCIL765KTS - Kentish Town Primary School SEN Swim Pilot Project - £302

(ix) LCIL766 - Kilburn State Of Mind Organisational Capacity and Resilience Project - £23,000
