Purpose

Construction of this phase of the Central Somers Town
masterplan will see the southern end of Purchese
Street Open Space refurbished and improved. The work is due to
complete in the summer 2024.
 
Earlier phases of the Central Somers Town Masterplan work
required the movement of a memorial plaque for a young Camden
resident.
 
The reopening of the improved Purchese Street
Open Space coincides with the 30th anniversary of the
murder and therefore a private memorial event is planned for its
unveiling and blessing.
