Full council record
Purpose

Camden collects funds from development through planning section
106 agreements and the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and uses
these to fund infrastructure and related investment to help
mitigate the impacts of development in Camden, support the
development of the area and meet We Make Camden priorities,
missions and challenges.

Local authorities are required to set out what these funds have
been spent upon and what is likely to be funded in future. The
Infrastructure Funding Statement looks at income and expenditure
from the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and Section 106 (s106)
agreements in Camden for the 2022-23 financial year and gives an
indication of future spending priorities. More detail on spend is
set out in the CIL and S106 Annual Report which is in the format
prescribed by Central Government. This report seeks the approval of
these documents.
