Purpose

Officers are proposing an extension of the current contract for a period of up to 12 months from October 1st 2026 at a value of up to £2,200,000.

In accordance with Contract Standing Order E2.1, the Executive Director, Homes and Communities can authorise the variation to extend the contract as it falls outside the terms of the contract, but it requires approval of a waiver to implement it by the relevant Cabinet Member in line with Contract Standing Order F3.4. The officer element of the waiver approval will be sought via the online waiver process.
