Purpose

This report seeks approval to provide a new General
Disabled parking space outside 8 Laxton Place, NW1
3PT. This will be achieved by converting the redundant 6.6 metre
Dedicated Disabled parking bay to a General Disabled parking bay.
There will be no loss of residents parking because of this
change.
 
The proposal meets the aims of We Make Camden
by improving the quality of life for the other blue badge holders
in the area, enabling them to live more independent and active
lives.

THAT the Chief Engineer, subject to compliance with
relevant statutory requirements and detailed design, approves the
conversion of the redundant 6.6 metre Dedicated Disabled parking
space to a General Disabled parking space, outside 8 Laxton Place
NW1 3PT.
