Purpose

JUMP
(formally Local Green Points) currently deliver the Council’s
Recycling Incentive Scheme. The current contract expires in July
2024 and this report seeks approval to procure a new contract from
August 2024 for a period of 6 years including an optional break
clause at 3 years.

 
This report
sets out the commissioning of a recycling and active travel
incentives scheme, which includes behaviour change and resident
engagement objectives. The value of the contract is estimated at
£400,000 (including extensions) with a contractual option of
increasing the value to an estimated £470,000 should Camden
wish to expand the scheme to include wider Council service
areas.
