Purpose

This report seeks approval of the award of contract for the
Supply and Installation of the Fire Doorsets Framework Agreement.
The call off contract will support the delivery mechanism(s) that
were agreed by Cabinet on the 19th July 2019, which is to deliver
construction and property-related services to residential and
non-residential properties, thus ensuring fire safety-related works
meet and exceed the minimum standards.
 
The Framework Agreement is for the aggregated sum of
£3,221,044.70 excluding VAT (£3,865,253.64 incl. VAT)
for a period of 18 months.  The award of call-off
contracts are non-exclusive and will be undertaken based on a
rotation of the contractors and will be subject to them meeting
KPIs and having adequate resources in place.
