Purpose

This report seeks approval for the appointment of Capital
Property and Construction Consultants (Capital PPC) for all
consultancy services associated with the pre
construction and construction phase of the Birkenhead
Estate cladding remediation project.
 
The consultancy fees for the pre-construction and construction
phase of the project will be £525,014.71 The project is
expected to commence in March 2024 and the programme for completion
is projected at 18 months dependent on the route chosen for the
selection of Contractors to undertake the work.

Content

THAT the Director of Property Management:
 

approves the procurement strategy, which included a price and
contract term of 1.5 years for an estimated aggregate value
(£525,014.71); and
approves the award of the contract to Capital PCC for a period
of 1.5 years for the sum of £525,014.71.
