Purpose

This report seeks approval to allocate local Community Infrastructure Levy (‘local CIL’) funds to community projects assessed from 10 August to 6 October 2026 - the projects are listed in the Recommendations section below. The projects have been assessed by officers to ensure they are in line with the CIL regulations and the Council’s assessment criteria for local CIL allocations, as set out in the case officer reports in Appendix 1.

Under the Council’s Constitution, the allocation of Camden CIL funds is a matter delegated to the Executive Director Investment, Place and Opportunity.

Decision

THAT the Executive Director Investment, Place and Opportunity agrees to allocate local Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funds as follows:

i.               LCIL761a - London Youth Theatre at 1A Tower Street Additional Allocation - £3,096

ii.             LCIL767 - We Make Camden Kit Seed Grants - St Pancras & Somers Town - £10,000

iii.            LCIL768 - Grange Park and Kilburn Public Toilet Provision - £7,813

iv.           LCIL771 - Camden People First Estate Based Drop-In Centre - £29,000

v.             LCIL778 - Town Spot Year Three (2026 - 2027) - £3,500

vi.           LCIL779 - Hampstead Parochial Primary School Playground Upgrades - £8,330

vii.         LCIL782 - Camden Gardens Green Space Improvements - £250,000

viii.        LCIL783 - Castlehaven Community Association Replacement Roof - £22,500
