Purpose

This report
seeks approval to procure a new contract for New Tree Planting from
August 2024 for a period of 14 months. Gristwood and
Toms currently deliver the contract which expires in October 2024,
and it is our intention to procure the contract by August to have
enough time for the contractor to survey and locate the new trees
within the borough before the next planting season
(Autumn 24-Spring 25). The contract will be procured
via open tender with an estimated total value of
