Purpose

This report seeks approval of the extension to the contract for
postal services with Royal Mail for a period of 2 years, for an
estimated sum of £440,000.
 
The extension will be in accordance with the original contract
which allow the Council to extend the initial term of 3 years by 2
years.

1.       Notes the
performance of the contract.
2.       Approves the
extension of the contract for a period of 2 years for the estimated
sum of £220,000 per annum (£440,000 in aggregate).
