Purpose

This report seeks approval of the extension of the contract for
removals and storage for Camden residents.
 
The service involves the removal, delivery and storage of
household items from residents’ homes when they are either
moving between addresses or moving out of Council accommodation.
The service is a statutory requirement for some services, as well
as being necessary for moving tenants between properties as part of
housing developments.

Supporting Communities approves the extension of the contract for a
period of 3 years for the sum of £225,000 per annum
(£675,000 in aggregate).
