Purpose
To consider the award of a contract to an electric vehicle
charge point supplier to supply, install, operate, maintain and
decommission (if required) a dense number of fast electric vehicle
charge points along single street and clusters of streets across
the Borough.

Consideration was given to a report of the Executive Director
Supporting Communities.
DECISION –
THAT, having considered the results of the equalities impact
assessment at Appendix 1, and having due regard to the needs set
out in section 149 of the Equality Act 2010, and subject to
compliance with statutory processes where required, the Cabinet
Member for Planning and a Sustainable Camden agrees:
i)
To award a contract to Trojan Energy for the supply, installation,
operation, maintenance and (if required) the decommissioning of
dense numbers of fast electric charging points for a period of ten
years commencing in November 2024, for the estimated maximum value
of £7,288,665; and
ii)
To delegate further decisions required for implementation of the
proposals, including detail design considerations, to the Director
of Environment and Sustainability.
