Purpose

This report recommends the award of a Main Works Design &
Build contract to Morgan Sindall Construction Ltd for 2 Chester
Road and 248-250 Camden Road for delivery of 89 units of temporary
accommodation across the two sites.
 
This follows design development and two stage tendering through
a Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) under the Pagabo Major
Construction Works Framework.

Content

THAT the Executive Director Supporting Communities, in
consultation with the Executive Director Corporate Services, the
Cabinet Member for New Homes and Community Investment, Cabinet
Member for Better Homes, Cabinet Member for Finance and Cost of
Living, and the Borough Solicitor’s to approve the following
recommendations:
 
1.   
approves the direct award of the Design & Build contract to
Morgan Sindall Construction (London) ltd for 2 Chester Road and
248-250 Camden Road project.
2.   
agrees an increased budget sum as set out in Part II of this
report.
