The Independent Persons Panel is an advisory committee that plays a role in the process of considering the dismissal of a Statutory Officer or Joint Chief Executive. If an Appointments Committee proposes dismissal, it sends its recommendation and relevant information to this Panel. The Panel then reviews the proposal and particulars to provide advice, views, or recommendations to the full Council.
