These regulations require all local authorities in Wales to formulate a scheme for coordinating their admission arrangements for all maintained mainstream schools from the 2027-2028 academic year, to be determined by 1 January 2025.  The determined Co-ordination scheme would inform a later consultation on Admissions arrangements subject to consultation in the period September 2025 – March 2026.
