Cardiff Council's Cabinet decided on 20/11/2025 to approve the submission of the Deposit Replacement Local Development Plan (RLDP) and accompanying documents for independent examination. The Cabinet also agreed to delegate powers to senior officers to negotiate issues and agree minor amendments to the RLDP during the examination process. This decision allows for the submission of the RLDP to the Welsh Government and Planning Inspectorate.
