Decision
RESOLVED: that
- Authority be delegated to the Director of Education & Lifelong Learning in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Education to proceed to publish proposals as outlined in paragraph 2, in accordance with the section 48 of The Schools Standards and Organisation (Wales) Act 2013.
- a further report will be provided to Cabinet providing details of any objections received, the response to those objections and recommendations for implementation or otherwise of the proposals.
- Authority be delegated to the Director of Education & Lifelong Learning in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Education and Cabinet Member for Finance, Modernisation & Performance, Director Governance & Legal Services and S.151 Officer, to proceed with the appointment of multi-disciplinary services to undertake design development of potential later phase ALN expansion schemes ahead of Cabinet authorising officer consultations on preferred proposals.
