The Cabinet of Cardiff Council approved the Economy & Culture Scrutiny Committee's Inquiry Report entitled "Improving City Centre Daytime Users' Experiences" on 16 July 2026. The decision included recommendations to shape the administration's approach to improving city centre user experiences, establish a multi-disciplinary officer group to develop a City Centre Strategy, and work with business partners on revised trade waste arrangements by March 2027.
