AGREED: that

1. the Stage 2 contract for the essential improvement works for Cardiff Market be entered into as set out at Confidential Appendix 1.

Reasons for the decision

To allow for the commencement of essential improvement works for Cardiff

Market to mitigate the risk of unplanned closure of a key heritage and

commercial asset and to retain secured funds from third parties
