Purpose
To provide an update on the Arena development and the Development Agreement (DA).
To recommend entering a JCT contact with the approved contractor of the Muti Storey Car Park.
To provide an update on the Public Engagement exercise in relation to the proposal to remodel Lloyd George Avenue.
Decision
Appendices 1, 2 & 4-7 of this report are not for publication as they contain exempt information of the description contained in paragraphs 14 and 16 of Part 4 and paragraph 21 of Part 5 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.
RESOVED: that
1) the build contract be approved and entered into for delivery of the new MSCP at Atlantic Wharf as set out at Confidential Appendix 7 and for any further matters arising authority be delegated to the Director of Economic Development in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Investment and Development, the Section 151 Officer and the Legal Officer.
2) the PCSA costs as set out in Confidential Appendix 7 be approved and made following the conclusion of the PCSA works.
3) the exclusivity agreement with Aviva Capital Partners for the development of Area B - Atlantic Wharf be extended up to the end of March 2025.
