About
The Audit, Compliance and Governance Committee oversees the council's internal controls and assurance mechanisms across all its operations. It reviews areas such as internal and external audits, risk management, financial statements, corporate governance, freedom of information, counter fraud, and ICT security. The committee produces an annual report to summarise its work and demonstrate its adherence to its terms of reference, providing assurance on the council's governance, risk management, and financial and business controls.
